Mehreen Pirzada clears air about rumors on her trip to US !

‘Pantham’ star Mehreen Pirzada took to social media early Tuesday morning to clear the air about some unfortunate rumours circulating on her. A gossip website alleged that the actress had fired on the media during the promotional activities of her upcoming film with Gopichand. They alleged that the actress gave them a statement that the media tried to drag her name in the mud by linking her to the Tollywood sex scandal. They also furnished the article with details of how she told them she was questioned by the US police. She added that she missed the last promotional event of ‘Pantham’ as she was down with viral fever and was in Mumbai. She cleared the air that when she was travelling with her family on a vacation from Vancouver to Las Vegas, she was questioned by the US Border officials when they found out she was an actress from Tollywood. That was when she first found out about the scandal and the authorities even apologised to her before letting her travel without any further issues. “The fact that I was embarrassed by the situation and very shaken up is a personal thing,” she wrote.
