BMW F750 GS and F850 GS Launched in India; Prices Range from Rs. 11.95 – Rs. 14.40 Lakhs

BMW has launched two new bikes in the Indian market, and they will both feature the larger 850CC engine. The launch comes off the encouraging response that most motorbike manufacturers have experienced in sales of bikes with a larger engine displacement, as evidenced by the popularity of the Royal Enfield bikes like the Classic 350 which have been selling at record numbers in the last few years. The company, BMW Motorrad launched the F750 GS and the F850GS to cater to the growing market of bikers looking to engage in adventure riding or touring.

 

Both bikes will be available in three variants each, according to BMW Motorrad India. The range in prices of the three F750 GS variants will start at Rs. 11.95 lakhs and go up to Rs. 13.4 lakhs, while the price range for the F850 GS variants will be between Rs. 12.95 lakhs and Rs. 14.4 lakhs. All price mentioned are ex-showroom. The new GS models will come equipped with two modes, Rain and Riding, to cater to the individual requirements of the riders. Additionally, these bikes will have both the Antilock Braking System (ABS) and Automatic Stability Control (ASC) already installed, as the company wishes to ensure a higher degree of safety to riders in Indian conditions.

 

As per a statement from the company, “Both models feature the powerful 2-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 853 CC.”
